The Global African Investment Summit COMESA & Government of Rwanda (TGAIS – COMESA Rwanda) announced its roster of speakers, featuring multiple influential African heads of state, government ministers, heavyweight business leaders, and elite investors who represent US$200 billion funds under management.
The summit will provide a rare opportunity for these stakeholders to come together and create plans to transform the future of Africa. The continent is widely viewed as the next frontier for investment, with the spotlight finally moving away from challenges that prevent investment to issues such as infrastructure development,opportunity and economic growth.

The featured speakers will cover a variety of subjects at the summit including: intra-regional trade, the pros and cons of the Tripartite Free Trade Area (TFTA), how investment is spearheading Africa’s transformation, digitalisation, agricultural development and growth.
Notable speakers will include the President of Rwanda, His Excellency Paul Kagame;the Secretary General of COMESA,Dr.SindisoNgwenya; the former chairman of the International Monetary and Financial Committee, Dr Youssef Boutros Ghali; as well as UK Trade Envoy to Uganda & Rwanda, Lord DolarAmarshiPopat, and Goldman SachsManaging Director, Colin Coleman.
