Tanzania, April 20 – Germany Embassy in Tanzania in collaboration with Germany Confederation of industries and commerce, has assured Tanzanians to continue with its support towards business and trade development for the benefit of the two countries.
Speaking in Dar es Salaam over the weekend when launching AHK services Eastern Africa Ltd, German Ambassador in Tanzania Dr. Detlef Waechter said his country is full committed to continuing investing in the county’s trade as well as industries.
Ambassador Waechter was speaking during the inauguration of AHK services Offices funded by Federal Government of German in a move to strengthen business tie and partnership between Tanzania and German.
“This office will be a bridge between Tanzania businessmen and German, and it will be a strong connection in finding business and investment opportunities for both individuals and companies” added the Ambassador.
The event was attended by German delegation including, the chief executive Officer of German confederation of industries and commerce (DIHK) Dr.Martin Wensleben, and Ms. Tanja Gonner head of GIZ, as well as the head of the established Office Dr.Jeniffer Schwarz.
On his side Industry Trade and Investment Minister Charles Mwijage, said Tanzania values the efforts made by German in supporting President John Magufuli’s industrialization drive.
Minister Mwijage said Tanzania and German has a historical relationship over years, and it is high time for investors as well as businessmen to explore potentials available for the sake of the Development of two countries.
AHK office is situated in Dar es Salaam along Masaki area near Chole road slipway junction, it has started operation ready for business and investments.
