Tanzania, April 23 – Tanzania has once more showcased its muscles in the tourism sector by edging out South Africa as the most liked tourist destination in African continent. It may not be a surprise to many who follow tourism in Africa as the East African country has taken the industry by a storm with various marketing and advertising programs and policies to ensure the sector stays at the top of its games as long as possible.
The nation is the leading tourism country in the East African region, and its performance in the country has helped strengthen the economy of the country. A poll was taken to determine the most welcome tourist destination between the two countries, with major aspects put into consideration.
South Africa is one of the first world countries in Africa, boasting of great infrastructure, better industrialization and economy prowess thanks to the investments made in the country but failed in the pecking order to compete with Tanzania in the tourism sector.
Serengeti National Park was the favorite destination that was put head-to-head with South Africa’s Kruger National Park in the seeking of which one catches the attention of a number of tourists. The former came on top with the great wildebeest migration being a peculiar and spectacular scene to behold in Africa, a wonder of the world in its own category.
