Mbale Business Park creates 1500 jobs in Uganda
Uganda, March 19 – Mbale Business Park will create more than 1500 job opportunities once operations are up and running in the industrial park. The Industrial Park was recently launched by President Yoweri Museveni another milestone by the Premier in his tenure. Uganda welcomes the business park with entrepreneurs and investors already enquiring for vacancies to put up their businesses.
The Government seeks to better industrialization in the country and this will undoubtedly be a positive move to goal wards. President Museveni hopes for the emergence of industries with the investment opportunity and other start-ups to help the government reach its goal. The businesses offer potential opportunities to create jobs for the citizens to contribute to the general input of the country’s economy.
With more than 1500 jobs to be created, Uganda’s poverty rate will decline and rate of unemployment decrease as well. The move is geared at building a strong economy for the state and be more competitive in the East African region. More youths will be employed to use their skills in bringing something to the table.

Eastern Uganda is poised to be busier with the park, prompting growth and development. The town will be a business hub, drawing investors, traders and businesses on a similar string. The business park will go through a number of innovations as well, as believed by the President. The Mbale Industrial Park is one of the 22-business parks in the country.
Investors are already striking local partnerships to aid in the development of the business park. Should Uganda be able to utilize the facility, they could produce more goods for local consumption and export purpose for revenues. They would be able to produce quality goods for their market, and improve the trade sector beyond their territories.
