Uganda ready to host Africa’s largest coffee trade platform

The conference's theme is "Sustainable Coffee Industry for Social Economic Transformation"

Uganda, Jan 18 – African Fine Coffee Conference & Exhibition is back and will take place in one of Africas specialty coffee countries. Uganda, one of the largest coffee producers will host the exhibition set to take place in the luxurious Kampala Serena Hotel. The conference has been scheduled on mid-February from 14th to 16th this year.

The conference will aim at bringing together key market players in the industry to discuss matters concerning the cash crop and the way forward in making it a success. There will be a bevy of international, astutely equipped speakers to grace the seminar with their presence to share insight for a better coffee production.

Exhibitors and participants continue to register and prepare for the mega-event that will set the pace once more for their products. The registration period had been extended with the number of participants set to rise. The deadline date has been pushed to January 31st for ample time of registration.

According to statistics that were released, coffee producers from Ethiopia who will be attending register 48%, with Kenya and Uganda registering 20% and 10% respectively. The conference is a vital matter for countries to play part in as they stand a chance to meet new clients, create contacts and establish relationships.

The program will include coffee field visits to learn more of coffee cultivation, spouse programs and other recreational activities. Regional and international speakers will be given an opportunity to enlighten the coffee producers on the industry.

It will be a wonderful opportunity to gain valuable information the countries can imbibe for growth and development. Businesses could take the next step with sponsorship programs offered.

Uganda has been earmarked for such a congress as it produces the finest quality Robusta and Africas top Arabica. It has been dubbed the Pearl of Africa possessing as well a warm temperate climate that does not only make it idea for agriculture but as a hub for tourism and travel.
