Nigerian entrepreneur Tony O. Elumelu is set to launch TEFConnect, dubbed as the world’s largest digital platform for African entrepreneurs. The role of technology and innovation in the continent to drive industrialization and digital migration has been effective and futile as economies continue to embrace the new era of business dynamism. In the wake to bring together business minds and key players in the sector, technology has played the perfect part to bring dreams into reality.

The impact of entrepreneurship in Africa has been catalyzed by prevailing factors such as lack of employment opportunities that have prompted many youths to set their economic lives on the entrepreneurial venture. Iconic entrepreneurs and Governments have encouraged this culture and rolled out programmes to nurture the mind of the young generation. Financial inclusion to support business ideas and expand their potential to help African economies have seen the field of study developed.

The platform to be unveiled in October will seek to expand the entrepreneurship ecosystem not only in Africa but globally. Nigerian philanthropist Tony Elumelu foresees a forum that will offer solutions and brilliant ideas to prevalent challenges in the economic lives of many entrepreneurs and help them maximize their potential. The umbrella will bring on the table a variety of business-minded people to curb barrier affecting their business environment. The economist has heavily invested in the lives of young people to help them achieve economic stability.

President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya will be present to give insights on the progress.

The Forum has reached out to thousands of entrepreneurs offering guidance and financial help to their businesses.
