Crypsense Digital Group, which operates as a Digital Assets Capacity Building and Management Platform in Kenya, become the first African Web 3 firm to be accepted into the Draper VeChain Web 3 Accelerator Programme.

This twelve-week Accelerator Programme is made available worldwide to high-growth blockchain firms.

The team participated in a pitch competition alongside some of the top 15 globally fastest growing Web 3 start-ups in Crypto, DeFi, NFTs, Metaverse, and GameFi. Before they were selected to participate in the Programme, they presented their ideas to a panel of expert judges from the Web 3 industry from VeChain, Draper University, and Cream.

Timothy Cook Draper, a top-tier venture capital investor in the technology space who counts some of the major tech companies such as Tesla, SpaceX, Twitter, Coinbase, Skype, and Baidu among his investments, is the founder of Draper University, a leading pre-accelerator and incubator in Silicon Valley that encourages the growth of high potential technology start-ups.

Established in 2014, Draper University’s mission is to foster the growth of high-potential technology start-ups.

To this day, Draper University has produced more than one thousand successful start-up entrepreneurs and raised more than three hundred fifty million dollars in early phase funding.

VeChain is a top-tier Layer 1 blockchain that provides solutions for global enterprises and receives its value from actions carried out by ecosystem members to resolve economic issues in the real world.

The collaboration Programme provides the essential assistance that blockchain and web 3 start-up companies need to obtain all of the industry mentoring and service they want to expand their effective solutions worldwide.

  • Crypsense Digital Group is the brainchild of The Africa Blockchain Centre, one of the start-ups of Adanian Labs — a venture studio with the mission of establishing, nurturing, and scaling 300 impact-driven ICT start-ups across Africa

“This is an incredible chance to speed up the adoption of Web3 across Africa by using both the Programme and our partnerships. Within our continent’s borders lie a wealth of unrealised skill and promise in the areas of blockchain and Web3. I am thrilled for Africa, and I can’t wait to see where this incredible opportunity leads us,” Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Crypsense Digital Group, Alice Anangi said.

“We realise the potential that blockchain offers in tackling some of the difficulties that Africa is facing, and we feel that by adopting the technology, we can harness our disruptive character as a continent to create wealth for ourselves,” she added.

Crypsense Digital Group is Africa’s first and fast-growing Digital Assets Capacity Building and Management Platform, providing an end-to-end solution for institutional blockchain and digital asset adoption.

Training, wealth management and custodial solutions, asset finance, and an accelerator launchpad to promote blockchain and cryptocurrency entrepreneurs in Africa are the primary tenets of the company.

Learn to Earn (L2E) and Play to Earn (P2E) are two learning management systems that the capacity development platform provides for blockchain and cryptocurrency. Education on cryptocurrency that can be interacted with can be grasped quickly and make the learning process both enjoyable and profitable simultaneously.

The Africa Blockchain Centre, a member of the firms of Adanian Labs, is the company that came up with the idea for Crypsense Digital Group. Adanian Labs is a venture studio to establish, nurture, and scaling 300 impact-driven technology start-ups across Africa.

The mission of the Africa Blockchain Centre is to demystify blockchain technology and establish platforms for businesses to learn about blockchain, conduct research and development on blockchain, rollout blockchain solutions, or use blockchain as a service for various applications spanning a wide range of industries and sectors.

John Kamara, the CEO of Adanian Labs, said, “We are incredibly proud of the advancements our start-ups have made. We take pride in offering the ideal setting, resources, and tools to support entrepreneurs and aid in the development of scalable solutions. The launch of Crypsense Digital Group comes at a perfect time as Africa looks at the potential of smart technologies to aid in its 4IR ambitions.”
