NAIROBI, KENYA, OCTOBER 15 — Real Estate tycoon, Mwenda Thuranira, has been nominated for manager of the year by the prestigious International Oxford Summit of Leaders in the United Kingdom.
Thuranira has gotten the international spotlight after he and his company, My Space Properties, got nominated for Manager of The Year and Best Regional Enterprise for Professional achievements in commercial activities, concurrently by the Oxford Summit of Leaders.
This comes ahead of the launch of his expansion of Myspace Properties from his Mombasa based real estate Company into the Nairobi market.
Myspace is not a new name in the real estate sector. It has played a key role in influencing direct financial investments in various high-end properties, one of which is the prestigious English Point Marina, in Mombasa, Kenyan Coast.
Thuranira stands the honour of being awarded a title that has previously been held by Colm Mcloughlin, Executive Vice-Chairman of Duty free-Dubai and Shree Darley, CEO of Darley Interior from South Africa.
The real estate guru has recently partnered with one of the biggest real estate firms in the world. The deal which is however yet to be made public and is expected to be unveiled in 2019.
“We expect to unveil the grand partnership between the New York based firm and MySpace Properties early next year,” Thuranira told the Exchange on phone.
The New York based firm is said to be behind managing and developing great cities like Miami, Korea and now setting foot in Kenya through one of Myspaces’ outfits.
“This will be a major boost for the property development in Kenya as well as Africa as a whole,” Thuranira noted.
He will be delivering a key note presentation on “One step ahead business. The necessity to move with Time”, at the 2018 Oxford Summit of Leaders.
The annual event is an initiative by the European Business Assembly, and will be held on the December 18th – 19th, at the Oxford Town hall in the United Kingdom.
