Google Pay has collaborated with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) to enable support for RuPay credit cards on the Unified Payments Interface (UPI).
This collaboration allows users to make both online and offline transactions using their RuPay credit cards through Google Pay.
Several banks, including Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, HDFC Bank, Indian Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Punjab National Bank, and Union Bank of India, have issued RuPay credit cards, which can now be linked to Google Pay.

While Google Pay previously only supported debit card transactions, it now also supports RuPay credit card transactions, making it convenient for users.
Users can now link their RuPay credit cards to Google Pay by following a few simple steps, making it easier to use the card for payments.
Google Pay plans to integrate several more bank cards in the coming days to enhance its services.
Users can navigate to the settings menu in the Google Pay app and select the "Set up payment method" option to add their RuPay credit card.
They need to provide card details, including the last six digits, expiry date, and PIN, along with the registered mobile number for OTP verification.
