New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft was among the high-profile investors who lost money speculating on crypto exchange FTX.

And billionaire hedge fund manager Paul Tudor Jones, as per court documents published late Monday.

Sam Bankman-Fried's well-documented success included more celebrity investors and big-name financiers than previously reported.

By early last year, FTX had a $32 billion valuation after four funding rounds, but it went insolvent in November.

FTX co-founder and former CEO Bankman-Fried denies various criminal charges, including fraud and money laundering.

He was released on a $250 million bond in December while awaiting trial.

FTX is a historic loss for venture capitalists. Sequoia Capital wrote down its $210 million investment in November.
