A French firefighter set Guinness World Records by sprinting while being on fire.
He wore a protective suit and ran 272.25 metres (893 ft) while being engulfed in flames. Jonathan broke the previous record 04.23 metres (670 ft).
Jonathan also broke the previous record for the fastest full body burn 100 m sprint without oxygen, clocking in at 17 seconds. Both the records were previously held by Antony Britton (UK).
The video of the firefighter undertaking the dangerous attempt to achieve the world record was shared on Guinness World Records’ official Instagram handle.
"This performance has a lot of meaning for me, for my job as a firefighter and for the people who trained me and watched me grow,” Jonathan said after his attempt.
It was childhood dream to achieve these titles but if you thought this was it, well think again. "I've still got a lot to try and a lot of records to go for," he said.
