Now, as part of Meta's global strategy, WhatsApp is gearing up for a broader rollout, including in the vibrant Indian market.
WhatsApp is touting Channels as a straightforward, reliable, and private way to receive essential updates from individuals and organizations right within the familiar WhatsApp platform.
Open WhatsApp Web and navigate to Channels by clicking on the dedicated Channels icon.
Now, click on the '+' icon, leading you to the option to create a channel.Click 'Continue' and follow the onscreen prompts that will guide you through the setup process.
Add a channel name to finalize the creation of your channel. You'll have the flexibility to change the name later if needed.
Customizing your channel is the next step. You can either do this immediately by adding a description and an eye-catching icon or choose to return to this later.
Craft a brief description that succinctly explains what your channel is all about. This will help potential followers understand the channel's purpose.
To make your channel stand out, upload an image from your phone or the web that represents your content or brand.Click 'Create channel,' and voilà, you're all set!
