Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition is the first two-disc PS5 game, containing the base game and the Burning Shores expansion.

The physical edition of the game comes with two discs and is set to launch on October 6, beating Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth as a two-disc release.

This is a win for console owners who prefer physical media and the freedom to play without constant internet access.

The complete edition is priced at $59.99 and includes digital artbook, soundtrack, comic book, photo mode content, and in-game outfits.

The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where Aloy, the young huntress, seeks to protect humanity from a red blight.

The game will also be released on PC in early 2024 by Nixxes Software, featuring bonus content.

Details about PC-exclusive features are yet to be announced, but previous ports have included keyboard + mouse support, ray-tracing, DLSS, FSR-based upscaling, and ultra-wide display support.

PlayStation is continuing the practice of bringing PS exclusives to PC two or three years after their initial launch.

Horizon Forbidden West has sold 8.4 million copies on PS4 and PS5, with the franchise as a whole selling 32.7 million units.
