Samsung has announced the Galaxy SmartTag2, the successor to the original Galaxy SmartTag.

The Galaxy SmartTag2 will be globally released on October 11, 2023.

It offers up to 700 days of battery life in power-saving mode, doubling the previous models' battery life.

The device features a ring-shaped design and has an IP67 water and dust resistance rating.

It operates within a 120-meter range using Bluetooth connectivity.

New features include a Lost Mode that allows users to add contact information for easy retrieval of lost items or pets.

Updates have been made to the Compass View feature, making it easier to track directions with UWB-supported Galaxy smartphones.

The SmartThings Find app has also been improved, offering a full-screen map view and an enhanced interface.
