A daytime robbery involving a "flash mob" occurred on August 12 in Los Angeles.

About 50 individuals participated in the robbery.Another similar incident happened within a week.

On August 15, a group of 12 people with masks and hooded sweatshirts robbed a clothing store on South La Brea Avenue.

The robbers looted displays and escaped in multiple vehicles.

The targeted store has not been identified. Prior to this, a group of at least 50 thieves conducted a smash-and-grab robbery at a Nordstrom store on August 12.

The robbers stole approximately $100,000 worth of merchandise and used bear spray to assault security guards.

The flash mob targeted an upscale store in the Topanga Mall on Saturday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The criminals took expensive bags and clothing before escaping through exits.

Commander Gisselle Espinoza of the LAPD mentioned the violent nature of the flash mob and ongoing efforts to locate the responsible individuals.
