Over the past few years, the Sweden-based music streaming platform, Spotify has unveiled a wide range of new features.
This includes Collaborative Playlists and Blend, that made it easier for users to share the music they love easier than ever.
The company claims that these features are loved by users as they’ve already created over 45 million Blends.
In August, Spotify users cumulatively spent over 200 million hours listening to the Collaborative Playlists they’ve created, the company noted.
Now, Spotify has introduced a new feature to connect users over a shared love of music.
Spotify’s new Jam feature will enable real-time listening session for groups to tune into together.
Jam builds on some of the company’s popular social features and combines them with its personalisation technology to take real-time listening with friends to the next level. With Jam,
Premium subscribers will be able to invite others to contribute through a shared queue and enjoy a musical experience made exclusively for everyone listening in the group.
