Apple is planning to refresh its iPad lineup, which has not seen new models since October 2022.

Expected new iPad releases include A new iPad mini (codenamed J126b) in late 2023 or early 2024, likely with a faster chip.

An updated entry-level iPad (codenamed J507 and J508) with spec upgrades.

Two new versions of the iPad Air (codenamed J537 and J538), possibly differing in size or specs.

A new iPad Pro (11-inch versions J717 and J718, 12.9-inch versions J720 and J721) featuring an M3 chip.

The new iPad Pro is expected to be unveiled alongside a redesigned Magic Keyboard.

Apple is developing a new Magic Keyboard for the iPad (identified as R219) that will have an aluminum structure, a larger trackpad, and new sensors, making it look more like a laptop.

The new Magic Keyboard is expected to be compatible with both current and upcoming iPad Pro models, with uncertainty about compatibility with other iPads.

All these new iPads are set to be released with a future version of iPadOS 17, likely before WWDC 2024 in June.
