The Kenya Revenue Authority will at 11:00AM tomorrow Tuesday 18th Oct, be launching their ICT Strategy at the 2nd annual tax summit at KICC.
Officiating over the launch will be the ICT Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru. The new ICT strategy will enable the authority leverage on technology to improve service delivery and make it more convenient for taxpayers to meet their tax obligations, by leveraging on both online services and mobile phone services to enable taxpayers pay and file their taxes on time and at their own convenience.
The taxman is currently hosting it’s second annual tax summit with plenary sessions being held to discuss innovation in tax administration through technology advancement, partnerships to build tax compliance at the county level as well as transfer pricing and illicit financial flows.
The Summit comes to a close on Wednesday, the 19th of October.
