Crypsense Digital Group, which operates as a Digital Assets Capacity Building and Management Platform in Kenya, become the first African Web 3 firm to be accepted into the Draper VeChain Web 3 Accelerator Programme.

This twelve-week Accelerator Programme is made available worldwide to high-growth blockchain firms.

The team participated in a pitch competition alongside some of the top 15 globally fastest growing Web 3 start-ups in Crypto, DeFi, NFTs, Metaverse, and GameFi. Before they were selected to participate in the Programme, they presented their ideas to a panel of expert judges from the Web 3 industry from VeChain, Draper University, and Cream.

I am thrilled for Africa, and I can’t wait to see where this incredible opportunity leads us,” Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Crypsense Digital Group, Alice Anangi said.

“We realise the potential that blockchain offers in tackling some of the difficulties that Africa is facing, and we feel that by adopting the technology, we can harness our disruptive character as a continent to create wealth for ourselves,” she added.
