Rwanda, Jan 15 – Rwanda’s leading telecom is planning to upgrade its system in 2018 to provide quality services and increase its operations countrywide.
The network upgrade is set to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the bandwidth networks to its customers.
As the network provider aims for a wider market, they as well look to boost the connectivity of the network with $20 million financial injection.
With increasing demand of data usage, the telecom will be under pressure not to disappoint its customers with improved connectivity.
The plans are geared towards achieving an improved communication for the telecom’s subscribers to keep in touch effectively.
The subscribers had raised concerns over the poor network but that is set to be history when customary changes will be made.
Having subscribed to 3.65 million customers, the firm is desperate to keep its subscribers to remain competitive in the market.
The firm will invest $2 million more in comparison to last year, to fix signal problems that have affected the firm’s quality of service. For the data usage, speed has been affected by poor connectivity that has made their internet service gambling service.
MTN Rwanda is bidding to help the country’s goal of transforming it to an ICT-based economy with a wider coverage in the market.
