Agriculture development for food security and poverty reduction cannot be realized without the adaptation of digital solutions.

Digital solutions offer more effective traceability, compliance and farm management systems which make the commercial, large or small, much more effective. In these modern times of food scarcity in the face of ever-increasing demand, efficiency is the name of the game.

The more efficient a farm is, the more productive it becomes without necessarily increasing land size or the amount of crops or animals.

  • Agriculture deals worth $25Mn will be struck next month as investors throng the Kenyan capital for the 6th edition of Africa Agri Expo (AAE) in February 2023. 
  • Over 100 investors and potential business leads in the agriculture value chains from 35+ countries, are keen on setting up businesses and distribution set-ups in Kenya. 
  • The agricultural 2-day event will happen on 8th February to 9th February at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) and is designed to provide solutions to Farmers, Agribusiness professionals, Agronomists, Government representatives to improve their yields and revenue.

  • Kenya is set to host the 6th edition of Africa Agri Expo in February 2023 amidst dwindling growth in the Agricultural sector. 
  • The expo is aimed at bringing the entire agricultural value chain under one roof and open up a vibrant platform for agribusiness experts.
  • Some of the key areas of focus during the event include irrigation, crop protection, technology, food safety & security,  mechanisation, investment opportunities as well as government policies.

Kenya is set to host the 6th edition of Africa Agri Expo in February 2023 amidst dwindling growth in the agricultural sector. 

The expo which has been endorsed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development is aimed at bringing the entire agricultural value chain under one roof and open up a vibrant platform for agribusiness experts, top global companies, key policymakers and other stakeholders to explore the commercial opportunities in the continent through effective meetings and networking
